This book explains why skills trump passion and why “follow your passion” generally is bad advice. The author is on a quest to find out what defines a great job and how to get it. Eventually he concludes that there are three things that great jobs have in common, Creativity, Impact, and Control. This means that you should strive for jobs where you can be creative, have a big impact, and have a lot of control of your time. Of course, there is a lot more interesting things discussed in this book, but I won’t go into it here.
I really liked the book as it was entertaining and interesting, and would recommend it to anyone who want some kind of career.
